These general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter, the “GTC”) are agreed between:

The participant in the culinary tours offered via the Vegan Tourist website (hereinafter, the “Participant”); and

The sole proprietor, ADANDE FRANCK-STEPHANE, whose registered office is located at 229 rue St-Honoré, 75001 PARIS, France (hereinafter referred to as “ADANDE FRANCK-STEPHANE”).

1. Purpose

The GTC govern the sale of services offered on the website https://vegantourist.fr (hereinafter, the “Website”), and in particular the terms and conditions for booking, canceling, and participating in vegan culinary tours (hereinafter, the “Tours”) organized on the Website.

2. Description of the Tours

The Tours are offered by ADANDE FRANCK-STEPHANE and consist of themed culinary tours, specifically focused on discovering vegan cuisine, particularly in the Paris area.

Each Tour includes a defined itinerary, visits to various restaurants, and a culinary experience with tastings, as indicated on the Tour booking page.

Details of the tours, schedules, and prices are available only on the Site.

3. Term of these GTC

These GTC shall come into force as soon as the User has ticked the box “I have read and accept the GTC” when paying for the Reservation, as provided for in Article 6.2 hereof.

The GTC are concluded for the period between the Reservation as described in Article 6.1 hereof and the end of the Tour, i.e. the last service provided in the Tour.

4. Acceptance of the GTC

Any Participant wishing to book a Tour must read the GTC and accept their terms.

By checking the box “I acknowledge that I have read and accept the Terms and Conditions” (or any equivalent statement), the Participant acknowledges that they adhere to these Terms and Conditions, comply with them, and accept their terms.

ADANDE FRANCK-STEPHANE reserves the right to modify and update the GTC at any time and without notice, it being specified that the applicable GTC are those in force at the time of their acceptance, or those updated subject to new acceptance.

5. Conditions of Participation

5.1 Accessibility

The Tours are open to any adult capable of walking a distance of approximately 3 km during the afternoon, with sections of approximately 900 m maximum. The route involves several stops on foot and is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. We also recommend wearing comfortable shoes to fully enjoy the experience.

Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

5.2 Allergies and dietary restrictions

Participants must inform ADANDE FRANCK-STEPHANE of any specific allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of booking.

ADANDE FRANCK-STEPHANE cannot guarantee the total absence of cross-contamination, but will make every effort to accommodate specific requests.

6. Reservation and Payment

6.1 Reserving a Tour

All reservations for a Tour (hereinafter, the “Reservation”) described on the Website are made online via the Website.

The Participant chooses the date and time of the Tour, as well as the number of participants, and then makes their payment.

The Participant acknowledges that they have accepted the time and date of the tour and undertakes to comply with them when taking the Tour, subject to the cancellation and modification terms set out in Article 8 hereof.

6.2 Payment

Payment (hereinafter referred to as “Payment”) can only be made online via the secure payment system on the Website, which offers payment by credit card or PayPal, among other methods.

A successful payment will result in the receipt of a payment confirmation email and will confirm the Reservation.

7. Prices

The prices displayed are indicated on the Website in euros (€) and include all applicable taxes.

These prices are subject to change at any time, at the sole discretion of ADANDE FRANCK-STEPHANE.

The Participant acknowledges that the final price of the Tour booked is the price in effect at the time of Booking (hereinafter referred to as the “Price”). 

8. Cancellations and modifications

8.1 Cancellations by the Participant

The Participant may cancel their reservation up to 72 hours before the start of the reserved Tour for a full refund of the Price.

The Participant agrees that any cancellation made less than 72 hours before the Tour will not give rise to any refund of the Tour.

8.2 Cancellations by ADANDE FRANCK-STEPHANE

In the event of cancellation of the Tour by ADANDE FRANCK-STEPHANE, which may occur for various reasons such as extreme weather conditions or force majeure, a full refund will be made within 20 (TWENTY) working days.

The Participant will be able to find the new date of the Tour on the website and make a new Reservation.

9 Responsibilities

9.1 Responsibility of the Participant

The Participant undertakes to follow the instructions given by the guide during the Tour, to comply with these GTC and to behave respectfully towards other participants and people encountered during the Tour.

ADANDE FRANCK-STEPHANE shall not be held liable for any inappropriate behavior or damage resulting from the Participant’s behavior, nor for any related damages.

The Participant agrees to:

Respect the image and reputation of the Tours and ADANDE FRANCK-STEPHANE and not to harm its business in any way; and
Not harm the interests of ADANDE FRANCK-STEPHANE, directly or indirectly, in any way.

9.2 Responsibility of ADANDE FRANCK-STEPHANE

ADANDE FRANCK-STEPHANE makes every effort to ensure that the Tours take place in the best possible conditions.

However, ADANDE FRANCK-STEPHANE cannot be held responsible for unforeseen incidents or circumstances beyond its control (delays, etc.).

10. Personal Data

The information collected during the booking process is necessary for order management and communication with the Participant.

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act, the Participant has the right to access, modify, and delete their personal data by contacting contact@lievretaquin.fr.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, and other elements, is the exclusive property of ADANDE FRANCK-STEPHANE and is protected by copyright. Any reproduction or use without prior authorization is prohibited.

The Participant acknowledges that these GTC do not confer any right of use or ownership on the Participant.

12. Applicable Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, the parties will attempt to resolve the dispute amicably within three (3) months of receiving a dispute email from the Participant.

Failing this, the competent court will be the Paris Court of Justice.
